Women and men from all over the country are gathering in Washington DC and in other cities in the US and saround the world to demonstrate our commitment to women's rights, civil rights, LGBTIQ rights, immigrant rights, Social Security, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), and the many other rights and freedoms under attack by the GOP and Mr. Trump.

There are sister marches in addition to the Washington DC march, including Hartford, Stamford, East Haddam, Salisbury, Old Saybrook, New York City, Boston, Pittsfield, Northampton, Greenfield, Providence.

If you cannot make the march but would like to support there are many ways to do so.  In the link above, several options for donations are listed.

​Knitters and crocheters are encouraged to make pink hats for the the marchers.  At Hands On, Saturday 7 January, 11 am-2 pm we will have a Knitting 101 so more people can learn how to make hats.  Examples and more easy patterns will be posted here soon.  Meanwhile you can get busy on your own with the resources provided in the link below.
